Our charitable giving is focused on proving grants to our affiliated charities. Each charity presents us with specific programs that require funding and that meet our funding guidelines. We support a range of organizations that address urgent American Hispanic community needs. For grant applications please refer to grant request procedures.
We make charitable grants only to nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations. The following types of organizations or activities are excluded from support:
- Fundraising events or activities such as telethons, walkathons and races
- Sporting events
- Endowment campaigns
- Film, video, television or radio projects (except as part of a health literacy program)
- Request for loans or debt retirement
- Trips, tours or cultural exchange programs
- Grants to individuals
- Political causes or candidates
- Anti-business organizations
- Organizations that practice discrimination or limit membership on the basis of race, creed, gender, age, sexual preference or national origin
