About Us

The MS Care Foundation was founded by Danny and Zara Wettreich early in 2000, after they witnessed the effects of Multiple Sclerosis on a family member. The Foundation is based in Dallas, Texas and presently supports the two leading Texas MS programs affiliated with UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Baylor Hospital. In addition to the help we provide to these institutions, we are seeking to establish similar assistance nationwide.

MS Care Foundation is "Dedicated to providing compassionate care for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis", and we focus our efforts on providing assistance to those MS patients who are unable to obtain the care they need.

There are several worthwhile charity organizations that are donating their time and money to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis - and of course that is very worthwhile. But there is a huge need for taking care of today's sufferers so that their quality of life is improved while we wait for the cure. Our primary vocation is to provide financial assistance and support for those with MS who do not have the means to finance their own treatment. Such assistance may come in the form of drugs, wheelchairs, walkers, building access ramps, providing transportation, paying for salaries of MS social workers at medical facilities, etc.
