Capital Campaign Management
It is important to realize that not all campaigns are alike, just as no two organizations or communities are exactly alike. In fact, most campaigns follow a particular process as exemplified below:-
- The Pre-Study Phase: The first stage in preparation for a capital campaign is designed to establish the not-for-profits readiness to engage in such a significant undertaking.
- The Planning Study: This phase is a philanthropic planning study so as to establish the campaign's position in the marketplace.
- The "Quiet" Phase: Successful campaigns need to begin with a "quiet" phase. During which early generous and pace-setting supporters are identified, cultivated and graciously solicited.
- The Intermediate Phase: This phase calls upon second tier contributors and begins to develop more elaborate campaign materials.
- The Public Phase: Concludes the capital campaign with a broad-based appeal and gives every potential supporter an opportunity to participate.
- Follow-up Phase: Multi-year pledges require follow-up activities with donors to help ensure pledge fulfillment. Other events designed to recognise donors at acknowledgement events such as campaign victory party, opening and/or dedication of facilities are organised.
We organize campaigns in this manner in order to place the not-for-profit in a position to successfully complete its campaign with our guidance and support.
