New Charitable Funding Firm to Open in Dallas and El Paso

Philanthropic Fund Development, L.P. ("PFD") today announced that it had received a venture capital investment from Dallas based Churchill Venture Capital, L.P., and would commence business operations in Dallas and El Paso, Texas. Steven Silver, who is presently the President of the El Paso based Philanthropic Services of the Southwest, will be the President of PFD and will be relocating to Dallas.

PFD will draw on the more than 25 years expertise of Mr. Silver in non-profit fundraising, by offering small to medium size charitable organizations a professional fund development capability that they could not achieve by their own resources.

"We will continue to retain a presence in El Paso, working with the clients that I have known for many years," said Steven Silver "but the Dallas market has such a substantial requirement for the services that PFD can provide, it makes sense to be based there." Fundraising associates David Marcus, C.P.A., and Dr. Mark Torres will also be affiliated with PFD in El Paso and Dallas as appropriate.

Steven Silver will partner with Dallas venture capitalist, art collector and philanthropist, Danny Wettreich the Chairman of Churchill Venture Capital L.P. "We are pleased to support Philanthropic Fund Development as it provides a much needed service to the non-profit community in Texas." commented Mr. Wettreich, who is actively involved in charitable activities by serving on boards such as the MS Care Foundation and the World Affairs Council of Greater Dallas.

The offices of Philanthropic Fund Development will be located at 18170 Hillcrest Road, Suite 100, Dallas, 75252. Steven Silver can be reached in El Paso at (915) 630 7252 and in Dallas at (972) 612-1400. Philanthropic Fund Development's web site is www.fundingcharities.com.
