2003 September soiree to benefit spinal cord research at the Kent Waldrep Foundation Center for Basic Neuroscience Research at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas

Dallas Polo Club announces that the 8th Annual September Soiree ("Soiree") will be held on September 13th, 2003, and will benefit the Kent Waldrep Foundation Center for Basic Neuroscience Research at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. The proceeds of the Soiree will help support basic research in nerve growth, function and regeneration.The Co-Chairperson's for the event will be Kim and Greg Miller.

"We are pleased to once again offer our facilities to help raise money for this worthy cause. " said Bill Walton, President of the Dallas Polo Club. "Spinal cord and brain injury is the leading killer and disabler of children and young adults, and we need to do everything we can to find a cure for paralysis." he said.

The Dallas Polo Club also announces that Philanthropic Fund Development ("PFD"), a Dallas based full-service fundraising firm, has agreed to manage the fundraising activities of the Soiree. PFD not only manages fundraising campaigns, but also directly raises funds through major gift solicitation, grantsmanship, special events, and endowments.
